Cuisine Adventures' French Onion Soup makes it so easy to satisfy your craving for the flavorful soup. It heats up in the microwave in 5 minutes, just keep in mind that the cheese and croutons will combine with the soup instead of sitting on top. If you have the time, heat it up in the oven for 40 minutes for a nice presentation. The directions also offer a combo method of heating in the microwave and conventional oven, but the cheese and croutons will still combine with the soup.
There are plenty of intact onions in the savory broth with just the right amount of cheese and croutons on top. I have almost choked on too much cheese on restaurant versions, but did not have that problem with this soup.
The packaging of the soup is convenient because they are individually wrapped. A box of 6, 10 oz servings cost $9.49 at Costco. I purchased a set of 4, 10 oz soup crocks from Amazon for $19.99.
UPDATE: May 19,2017 A viewer contacted me disappointed because she was unable to find the soup at her local Costco. It may just be a seasonal item at Costco, but I saw it today at Trader Joe's under the Cuisine Adventures brand name in a pack of two for $4.99 located in the frozen meals section.
