Boom Chicka Pop

Boom Chicka Pop

Popcorn should be a simple snack, but I found the controversy surrounding the ingredients of microwave popcorn confusing. Since I seem to burn it most of the time anyway, I will either make my own using the Chef’n microwave popcorn popper. Just put in your loose kernels, drizzle some oil on top, close the cover and microwave for a minute or two. More often though, I look to Angie to meet all my popcorn needs.

If you are craving something sweet, salty and crunchy look no further than the grocery snack aisle for Angie’s Boom Chicka Pop kettle corn. The popcorn is light and delicate with a perfect balance of sweetness with a dash of salt. Angie keeps it simple with only four ingredients: Popcorn, Sunflower Oil, Cane Sugar and Sea Salt!

The popcorn comes in different size bags, but be mindful that it will go fast. I opt for the bag that contains 6, 1- oz bags (under $5) to control my cravings. It is also available in a 7 oz bag (under $4). The popcorn is also available in other flavors like Cheddar Cheese, Sea Salt, and Real Butter Popcorn. You can find Boom Chicka Pop wherever snacks are sold and you can often find it on sale. Be on the lookout during the holidays for some interesting flavors like Frosted Sugar Cookie and White Chocolate Peppermint.
